The Lookout limited edition 180g yellow vinyl

The Lookout limited edition 180g yellow vinyl

This is a pre-order of our second album, entitled The Lookout.

Danny says:

"I have spent the last 5 years, on and off, making this album. It is completed and will be released digitally in January. Making an album is expensive. There was once a time when I thought it would never be finished, and that's why you'll recognise some of the songs. We released a few as stand-alone singles. But they were always intended to be part of this album. There are 11 songs altogether and 16 musicians in total contribute their talents. The above is a mockup of how the vinyl may look (it hasn't gone to print yet).

The reason why I'm doing pre-orders before the album has gone to print is a financial one. If enough people pre-order the album, I'll be able to afford printing it. If not, I won't be able to put up the costs myself. So think of this as kind of a fund-it campaign. Except you'll have a beautiful looking vinyl by the end of it. I promise you that it sounds fantastic. Ken McCabe of Wolfhound Sound has done an incredible job mixing my indulgent triple tracked vocal takes into something sonically rich and satisfying to the ear. It will be pressed on 180g yellow vinyl with Irish company Dublin Vinyl.

To make it simple, if you'd like this to become a reality, consider pre-ordering. It can be a Christmas present for a friend, or a treat for yourself. Then send this link to 3 people who would dig it. You never know, it just might happen! If the threshold is not met, you will of course be refunded."

Includes digital pre-order of The Lookout. You get 4 tracks now (streaming via the free Bandcamp app and also available as a high-quality download in MP3, FLAC and more), plus the complete album the moment it’s released

Our collaboration with Tolü Makay and Jamel Franklin is called D.A.R.L.I.N.G.

We asked a few friends to be part of the music video.

Consider getting the track on Bandcamp. It's pay as you like and all proceeds go to MASI - fighting for asylum seekers' rights in Ireland. Hope you dig the song!

We had SUCH a good time in the Bello Bar. Here are a few clips from the show

Big thanks to Totally Irish 98fm, Sound Training and the Button Factory for this TiLT showcase.

Thanks to Ayo from Babylon Radio for this piece on my music, influences and beliefs 🌍

We recorded a live Day in the beautiful space that is D-Light Studios. Below is the first Video from that session - When it All Runs Out 🌍

We recorded 3 tracks altogether (2 previously unreleased)

We wanted to represent Soul music but also to create something uniquely Irish 🇮🇪 (For anyone who didn't grow up in Ireland, "Ceol" in Irish / as Gaeilge means "Music", and yes it rhymes with Soul 🧐)

Thanks to Oh my days for their lovely work on this one. It comes in S,M,L & XL and has the band name in small print on the front - very limited stock available! Get in touch if you want to treat yourself (or someone you love 🎁🎄)
